Delete a Checklist

Background

System administrators can delete checklists in the checklist section of the CMMS. As checklists have related history in the database, they are soft deleted and can be recovered. In effect, Zoidii simply turns off and hides the checklist. It is no longer available to select when creating new work orders or PMs. However, it can still be seen in historical work orders.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the checklists screen by clicking Checklists in the Maintenance main menu

2. Check the checkbox opposite the checklist or checklists to be deleted

3. Click Delete

4. Confirm the delete action by clicking the red Delete button. During this action, the checklists are also stripped from an PMs that reference them

5. The checklists are deleted

6. To view, or recover the deleted checklists, open the filters on the checklists list screen and set the Is Deleted filter to Deleted
