Q1. Can I modify a trigger?

A. Yes. You can edit a trigger of the same type. On the PM trigger line item, click More and Edit

Q2. What is the difference between Fixed & Floating triggers?

1. On a fixed schedule, the PM is triggered regardless of when the work was done. For example, a monthly PM starting on the 1st of the month will trigger on the 1st of every subsequent month.

2. On a floating schedule, the trigger date is set based on the closure of the previous work. For example, a weekly PM on a floating schedule every 1 week starting on a Monday is completed on Wednesday, the next PM will trigger the following Wednesday.

Q3. We do not work weekends. How do I configure a Daily PM trigger for Monday - Friday?

A. Create 5x weekly PM triggers set to fire every 1 week starting Monday, Tuesday etc. So for example, the 3rd PM trigger will fire every 1 week on Wednesday.
