Background

User roles follow the Principle of Least Privilege, which states that users should only have the minimum level of access and permissions required to perform their tasks, and nothing more. This reduces the risk of unauthorized or accidental changes, errors, breaches, or misuse of data and processes.

Roles

Zoidii ships with 4 user roles:

1. Admin - Access to 100% of the features and functions in Zoidii
2. Site Manager - Available when multi-site is enabled for the CMMS. They have access to certain features on their site.
3. Technician - Has access to limited functionality that enables the operation of the system.
4. Guest - the guest is an inactive user. They never log into the system but may create and view their guest work requests
